The Kuwait Society for Specialized Studies and Research contributes to the development of various life fields. Research and studies gain their importance from their status as the civilized face of the state, revealing its culture and worldview, in addition to the benefits they accrue to society. Based on this, the Kuwait Society for Specialized Studies and Research was established in 1986 to advance the research and scientific aspects of studying various social, political, cultural and economic phenomena of Kuwaiti society. This is in line with the spirit of the times, which has increasingly relied on scientific studies of reality to identify various paths and address growing daily problems.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kuwait Society for Specialized Studies and Research, Mr. Fouad Al-Rubaian, emphasizes that the Society aims to contribute to the development of all aspects of society's life, keeping pace with the progress of civilization, and removing all obstacles to its progress and prosperity through scientific study and analysis to arrive at appropriate solutions to address its general and specific problems, and to present the results of the studies to those interested in the matter.
To achieve its goals, the association organized numerous specialized seminars that discussed a variety of important issues, with the aim of reaching conclusions or highlighting and reviewing them collectively within the framework of sharing the opinions and viewpoints presented by specialists and attendees at the seminars.
